Michael’s career commenced in 1992 working in Australia, Canada and London, UK for various domestic corporations and multinational financial institutions.
In 2001, Michael joined his late father’s business M R Toal Investment Services which commenced in 1983. Tim Toal and Neil McKissock were among the early pioneers of the Financial Planning industry and both worked under the Godfrey Pembroke license for decades together in NSW and VIC respectively from the 1980’s to the mid 2010’s.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Degree (Banking & Finance), Member of the Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Association, Diploma of Financial Planning and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Michael has been advising a range of clients over the past 21 years and has a strong focus on developing long term relationships with his clients, some over 35+ years with the firm and well into the next generation. The majority of Michael’s clients tend to be the more complex structuring with SMSFs and Family Trust looking at three generations in some cases.
Outside of work, you are likely to find Michael on the golf course, still playing competitive cricket and searching for the next great ski hill.
