Peter has 45 years of experience as an accountant advising clients on their businesses and attending to their taxation needs. He also has over 28 years experience as a financial planner and superannuation specialist, with a passion for self managed superannuation funds.

Prior to merging his practice with SCM Financial Group in 2022, Peter was a principal in a firm for 18 years and afterwards ran his own practice for a further 18. Peter works closely with his clients and enjoys the various challenges arising in helping them run their business efficiently, achieve their goals and manage their wealth. His clients cover a broad range of industries and professions.

Peter is regularly quoted in the financial press and was instrumental in establishing the peak body for SMSFs, Self Managed Super Fund Association (SMSFA) and spent 10 years on the Board, including chairing the national conference.

Peter is married with 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren, with whom he enjoys spending time. Peter is a keen tennis player, recreational water skier, loves motorsport and cars, and any sport generally including “Caaaarlton”.
